Bobbie’s career as an installation artist began after he ventured south from Manchester to London via Nottingham Trent where he completed his BA in fine art.

This background combined with a natural eye for the nuances of design enabled him to develop and obtain the practical skills needed to grow within the art department.

In a short period of time his work was put to the test on a range of TV dramas, feature films and music videos including the ‘award winning’ TV Drama Misfits and Gerard Johnson's Hyena, a hard hitting feature film about the Albanian mafia and Russell.T Davies's Banana.

Bobbie work is inspired by his sculptural background and renowned for its unique aesthetic.

In less then 2 years after his first appearance on set as an art dept. runner he had acquired a host of on set experience and excelled within all realms of the art dept.

Highlights of his earlier career work include 45 Years (Andrew Haigh) and Disobedience (Sebastian Lelio)

He has been lucky enough to share sets and work alongside the likes of Rachel Weisz, Letitia Wright, Rob Lowe, Alessandro Nivola, David Tennant, Joe Gilgun and Charlotte Rampling.

After 7 years in the art dept Bobbie made the conscious decision to create new opportunities as a production designer.

His debut film in this capacity was Mari (Georgia Parris) a compelling tale of womenhood, dance and the complexities of mother / daughter relationship for which Bobbie used colour and shade to highlight these complexities. Mari was funded by the BFI, BBC Films, and Boudica Films and had its world premiere at London Film Festival in 2018.

He has just wrapped on The Owners (Julius Berg) starring Maisie Williams and Sylvester Mccoy another psychological
drama for which he was tasked with designing, dressing and building an authentic set for a host of toxic characters.
